David Hume’s Toes

I ain’t got no money
My clothes are kinda funny
My hair is kinda wild and free
Oh, but I know where I wanna go
If I’m feeling queasy

When you walk round Embra
The statues you remember
Are a dug and master of philosophy

David Hume’s toes and Greyfriars Bobby’s nose
Are lighting the way for me

There’s something about the way that they shine
It’s a feeling that’s fine
And I just gotta say
They really got a magical spell
And it’s working so well
That I can’t get away

People say it ruins
The statues’ protuberances
If you rub them constantly
But David Hume’s toes and Greyfriars Bobby’s nose
Are lighting the way for me
