If the cooncil try to take her then they're gettin a fight,

Because they took our beloved Rexie
And the hippos n mushrooms too

Well we loved the hippos and they took them away
Because they knocked the flats doon but that's cool
But then they took our mushies and they placed them elsewhere
They're just taking the people for fools

Well the worst thing was Rexie and they took ye away

Caskieberran are angry and petitions were signed
But the cooncil dinnae gie a hoot

An' the children will be happy that Rexie is back
An' the tamtams will be playin the tunes
